Volunteering
With 11,000 acres of woodlands and an extensive trail network, the Ganaraska Forest provides an incredible opportunity for outdoor recreation and education. The responsible management of such a large and diverse multi-use forest is a big job and the Ganaraska Region Conservation Authority appreciates the help of volunteers.
If you have some time to spare, your efforts can make a real difference in the sustainability of the Ganaraska Forest.
Help is needed in a number of areas including:
- Forest membership patrols
- Trail maintenance and site restoration
- Public education programs
- Guided hikes
- Special events
