Weekend Non-Profit Group Planning Information

The Ganaraska Forest Centre welcomes Girl Guides and Scouts and other non-profit groups for an affordable weekend stay at our facility. A variety of rental options are available depending on your group size and needs. Choose to stay in a combination of dormitory style rooms, add camping, or book the weekend kitchen to cook your own meals. We do everything we can to accommodate your group's individual needs.

Together, with the support of Northumberland Sunrise Rotary, the Ganaraska Forest Centre is able to offer visitors of any ability access to the forest. An All Terrain Wheelchair (Deposit Agreement) is available to use during your visit to the Ganaraska Forest Centre.

The following information is provided to assist you and in preparing for your Ganaraska Forest Centre (GFC) visit. Please see our availability calendar for weekend availability.

If you are planning an organized group event in the forest, you will require a special event permit: Forest Organized Event Permit Application

If you are only looking to book the facilities, you will require a Use of Facilities Permit, arranged through our main office, at (905)885-8173. Please read your permit carefully to understand our regulations. Permits must be returned within 10 days along with the appropriate non-refundable deposit of 50% of your fee to confirm your booking date.
