Recreational User Fees
To use the Ganaraska Forest, you are required to purchase an annual Forest Membership or Day Pass. These can be purchased at the Ganaraska Forest Centre and several nearby locations. On weekends, the Forest Centre gatehouse is open from 9 am until 4 pm. The Ganaraska Forest Centre is open from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. After these hours a self-serve system is available.
Fees for use of the Ganaraska Forest are based on the type of recreational activities pursued. Adult and youth rates (16 years of age and under) are available for both full year memberships and day passes, based on categories of recreational use. All categories of membership permit the use of the forest for lesser fee activities with the exception of cross-country skiing on groomed trails. Forest memberships allow access to the forest for a full year from the date of purchase.
